INTERESTING SCRIPTURES WHAT DOES GOD’S WORD SAY ABOUT REPENTANCE AND MORE

.Please read this short article first https://www.desiringgod.org/messages/unless-you-repent-you-will-all-likewise-perish

The very first step after salvation is full immersion Baptism and Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Prayer language two major blocks to receiving this is unforgiveness/occultism)

The next step should be Romans 12:1-2 (Give body living sacrifice (Die to self) Consecrate/Renew the mind with God’s Word. (Mind can not be renewed if there is unforgiveness) (REMEMBER WE ARE WASHED WITH THE WATER OF THE WORD

Romans 12:1-2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
12 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive DEDICATION OF YOUR BODIES [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, CONSECRATED) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.

2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] RENEWAL OF YOUR MIND [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Please beware of any one that says you can not lose salvation. I do not know how any human can assure that for one person or in front of a whole congregation that can assure someones salvation. ( Only Gods knows the heart) Read Gal 5:19 below along with Matthew Henry Commentary regarding just one scripture out of many!

Those who do such things are undoubtedly shut out of heaven. (I would say “Practice” these things “Serve” these things as an addition to the commentary)

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God

Matthew Henry Commentary Of these and such like, says he, I tell you before, as I have also told you in times past, that those who do such things, how much soever they may flatter themselves with vain hopes, shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

These are sins which will undoubtedly shut men out of heaven.

The world of spirits can never be comfortable to those who plunge themselves in the filth of the flesh; nor will the righteous and holy God ever admit such into his favour and presence, unless they be first washed and sanctified, and justified in the name of our Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God

Each one must also purify himself (1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless)

Jesus will do His part and He has assigned Grace to train us!

(Tit. 2:11 For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.

12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world, )

if we do ours

(1 John 1:6-7 6 [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents].

7 But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]

2 Cor 7:1 2 Corinthians 7:1 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

7 Therefore, since these [great] promises are ours, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, and bring [our] CONSECRATION to completeness in the [reverential] fear of God.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

SCRIPTURES FOR CONSECRATION

Heb 12:14 Hebrews 12:14 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
14 Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.

2 Pet 3:11 11 Since all these things are thus [b]in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities

Acts 20:32 (AMPC)
32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

Heb 10:26-29 (Consecrated by the Blood of Jesus and willfully practice sin)

Hebrews 10:26-29 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
26 For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward].

27 [There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God].

28 Any person who has violated and [thus] rejected and set at naught the Law of Moses is put to death without pity or mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse (sterner and heavier) punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and [thus] trampled underfoot the Son of God, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of God)?

Info on Repentance and forgiveness

Luke 24:47 AMPC
And that repentance [with a view to and as the condition of] forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38 Amplified Bible (AMP)
38 And Peter said to them, “Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 7:12-13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
12 If a man does not repent, God will sharpen His sword;
He has strung and bent His [mighty] bow and made it ready.
13
He has also prepared [other] deadly weapons for Himself;
He makes His arrows fiery shafts [aimed at the unrepentant].

Luke 3:3 AMPC I tell you, No; but unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be LOST ETERNALLY.

*Luke 13:5 AMPC+ I tell you No but unless you repent, change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways with abhorrence of your past sins you will all likewise perish and be LOST ETERNALLY.

1 John 3:6-10
. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, o let no one deceive you. p Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.

8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was r to destroy the works of the devil.

9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s 2 seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.

10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, t nor is the one who u does not love his brother.

Rom 8:1 Romans 8:1 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
8 Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. (We must quote the whole verse to avoid confusion and deception…Some translations have omitted Who walk not after the flesh)

The same for iniquity…many translations have replaced it with sin.

A. John the Baptist, as forerunner for Jesus, prepared the way by teaching
repentance.
B. Jesus Himself could not be manifested as Messiah to Israel until the hearts of the
people had been prepared by repentance.
1. Mark 1:15—The first demand actually made by Jesus was to repent.
2. Luke 13:1–5—Religion (offering sacrifices, etc.) is no substitute for
repentance.
3. Luke 24:46–47—After His resurrection, Jesus ordained that repentance and
remission of sins should be preached to all nations.
4. Acts 2:37–38—On the day of Pentecost, the first demand made by Peter was
“Repent, and be baptized.”
5. Acts 20:20–21—Paul’s message likewise demanded repentance toward God
and faith toward Christ.
6. Is. 53:6—We all need to repent because we have all turned to our own way.
God calls this “iniquity” (rebellion). By repentance, we turn from our own
way and submit to God.
7. Luke 13:1–5—Jesus plainly sets forth the alternatives: “Repent” or “perish.”
8. Luke 15:11–32—The prodigal son is the perfect pattern of repentance: he
made a decision to turn back to his father, and he acted on it.
9. Lev. 4:1–4—The priest bringing his sin offering typifies true repentance.
a. Laying his hand on the bullock’s head = “Confession.”
b. Killing the bullock = “Repentance.”
c. By repentance you put your own sin to death.
10. Ps. 139:20–24—David asked God to show him any enemies of God that were
within his own heart. Then he took his stand against those enemies of God,
and declared that they were also David’s enemies.
a. This is true repentance. We must do the same.

b. The devil operates through his “fifth column.” Christians cannot be
defeated by attack from without. It is the secret areas of sin and rebellion
within our own hearts that provide a “fifth column” for the devil. Only
through these can we be defeated.

Please remember when we:

REPENT/ Takes away SHAME GUILT REGRET SORROWS

FORGIVE/ takes away ANGER HATRED RESENTMENT BITTERNESS

When we do not or can not raise our hands in worship this is an indication of guilt / shame / condemnation / father fracture (Heavenly Father and maybe earthly father) This is the enemy of our souls telling us these things feeding our thoughts and emotions.

Someone who has a thought during a soccer game that goes into fear and wants to throw themselves on the ground in repentance. Fear is a spirit….God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear but power…love…and self control (sound mind)

Having the enemy tempt us with thought is NOT a sin….God’s Word says take our thoughts captive…we get between 30,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day (Full time job)

There is no fear when we walk in God’s ways and are doers of the word. We also should not fear addressing generational sin in our family line or any sin!!

#3 CANCEL ANY CURSES FROM THE SIN

#4 Command any spirit (Name if any) to come out and go to the dry place with all unnamed spirits

#5 Ask Father God, The Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to heal…cleanse…refill you and to tell you His Truth.

#6 REJOICE give thanks for your freedom!!!

It is not all about just deliverance that brings healing..it is raising up believers to become over comers faithful to the end and sending them out to their families Churches Ministries workplaces. Scripture says put on our Armour…we wrestle not with flesh and blood but principalities powers rulers of darkness wicked spirits…..

Rom 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good*, and simple concerning evil.

(“simple” #185 unmixed, pure as in wines or metals of the mind, without a mixture of evil, free from guile, innocent, simple)

Heb 5:14 Hebrews 5:14 Amplified Bible, Classic
14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.
