The great falling away is underway. We are in a time on this earth like none other. We are so close to Christ’s return. Look around and you will see that it is only the remnant that are wanting the truth of God’s word. Many Christians in this hour are not adhering to the absolutes of the Bible. They’re no longer enduring sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they have heaped to themselves teachers, having itching ears; turning their ears from truth to fables (II Tim 4:3-4).
When I’ve counseled people with the word of God for different situations I’ve seen them look at me like a deer in the headlights, or they tell me the Holy Spirit has showed them something different (that didn’t line up with the word). On occasion they’ve even gotten up and just walked out when I pointed to the truth in the scriptures about a matter. God is the same yesterday, today and always. He changes not. What once was common knowledge in the American church on a host of moral issues thirty years ago is now foreign to the multitude. The word that was preached that birthed great moves of God in our nation is now resisted with venom. Believers are even labeling legalistic those believers that have a heart of repentance and adhere to the inerrancy of the Bible. The good is looking bad, and the bad is looking good.
The Bible says concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, to not let anyone deceive you for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first (II Thes 2:1-3). That’s what is says, that before Christ comes back there will be a falling away in the Body of Christ and this is happening right before our eyes. People are no longer enduring sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they are heaping to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they are turning away their ears from the truth, and turning aside to fables (II Tim 4:3-4).
During a recent Friday night prayer meeting I got in my spirit after we interceded for three hours in the Holy Ghost that the deception in this hour is extremely great. Even greater than we can even imagine. This bleak darkness has infiltrated everywhere and it’s on a massive scale. It’s one thing to read the word and to get what it says, but it’s another thing when the Holy Spirit reveals it to you, and you see unrepentant people spinning down a vortex into hell. I am not talking here just about the lost, I am talking about the church. The falling away is in the church. We can’t go on in rebellion against God’s word and expect to inherit eternal life. Paul said, What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Yes, Apostle Paul said, God forbid, don’t sin! Grace is not a cover up for sin, it’s an empowerment to turn from it. Remember, the bible says that when we go on sinning willfully we do despite to the Spirit of grace. Don’t vex the Holy Ghost!
I appeal to you today – DO NOT BE DECEIVED in this hour we are living in. Because this deception is exceedingly great. All I kept getting during prayer, DO NOT BE DECEIVED, DO NOT BE DECEIVED, DO NOT BE DECEIVED! I was deeply grieved as the Holy Spirit was showing me the depth of this deception and how the devil is appearing as an angel of light in the Body of Christ, and what is looking real good to the multitude is damning their souls. Without the full counsel of God being preached from the pulpit it has created a gross darkness and the blind are leading the blind into the pit of hell where there’s weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This darkening is exactly what Richard saw in a vision and prophesied in 2012 that would happen if there was no repentance. During a four month span of opening up our church every Saturday to the community and calling ministers to come from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (twelve hours) to fast and pray, and weep between the porch and altar for the Body of Christ and our land, he got a vision/word. While we were interceding he fell prostrate to the floor and spoke with groans from his belly that it is a dark velvet blanket of seduction and it’s covering the whole earth and he then he cried in a loud voice, REPENT! REPENT! REPENT! I knew from that day that the only word for the church in this hour is REPENT! Because I knew that the only way you will not be deceived is to have a heart of repentance. We are living in a time God is calling the Body of Christ to live a consecrated life and live in obedience to Him.
I implore you do not go on sinning willfully. The false grace message that has permeated the church is a great deception. When you believe you can go on living any lifestyle that you want that doesn’t line up with the word and that you don’t need to repent and that the blood of Jesus cleanses you. You are deceived! If you have received the knowledge of the truth do not stay in your sin. Judgment is here and begins at the house of the Lord. Do not be a part of this great falling away. Repent and turn! Get off the broad road that leads to destruction and enter the narrow gate and walk the path. If you’ve sinned, confess it for He is faithful and just to forgive you and the blood of Jesus His Son will cleanse you from all sin, but you must repent and turn from your sin. It’s not okay to go on sinning willfully. The blood of Jesus does not cleanse excuses, it only cleanses sin. As a Believer you have the power of the Almighty God to deliver you out of whatever you may be going through. Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to empower you to turn from your wicked ways, enabling you to serve the living God in obedience to Him.
Consecrate your life to Him now. Don’t play with your salvation. God is calling His Bride to be consecrated to Him to be able steer clear of this great deception. It says that in the end times even the elect if it were possible will be deceived. That looks like it can come too close for comfort. The bible says, STRIVE to enter into through that narrow gate. “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.(Luke 13:24
Beloved, do not be deceived and willingly stay in your sin because if you do there is no more sacrifice for you but a certain fearful looking for to judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. The Lord truly will judge His people…
Hebrews 10:26-31 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
