Future generations of Christians—if there be any—will be profoundly baffled by us. They will ask why—why did we let trivial and foolish matters eat up so much time? They will agonize over our shallowness. They will cringe at our amusements.
But above all, they will be horrified that we played all these foolish games against the backdrop of madness and perversion. In a time of raging wickedness—while we still had the chance—why didn’t we rise in the power of the Holy Spirit? Why didn’t we deliver an effective challenge to the lies, addictions, and brainwashing of our time?
